family fun day!

on sunday, april 25, bpumc will be having a family day at camp sumatanga.  i think several people from our class are planning to attend, so it should be a lot of fun!   below are directions to camp & a suggested list of "what to bring" items. 

directions:

• take i-59 north from birmingham
• exit #166 {ashville, oneonta}
• turn left onto hwy 231:: travel 3.5 miles
• turn right onto county road 35:: travel 3.4 miles
• Turn right onto county road 44 {sumatanga road}:: travel 1.7 miles & pass through rock entrance
• Turn at the 4th right turn:: sign will say lake trail & pavilion
• Ours will be the 1st pavilion on the left

what to bring:

• chair
• blanket
• bug spray
• sunscreen
• hat
• sunglasses

the picnic will be from 12:00 - 5:00 and lunch will be served around 1:00.  the "pit crew" will be grilling hamburgers & hotdogs so make sure you bring your appetite!!
